Oι "Harps" ιδρύθηκαν από την τραγουδίστρια Andry Λάγιου, στην Αθήνα, κάπου μεσα στο 2012. Όταν άρχισε να εκτελεί κυρίως δικές της συνθέσεις έχοντας τον Jim Rouvell στα τύμπανα τον Περικλή Παλαμιώτης στην κιθάρα ,και τον Θάνο Καρακαντά στα πλήκτρα και το μπάσο .
Τα τραγούδια που γράφει η μπάντα θα μπορούσαμε να πούμε οτι είναι hard rock με με ωραία κιθαριστικά riffs, φέρνοντας μαζί μερικά από τα κλασικά ακούσματα της Andry, καθιστώντας με αυτόν τον τρόπο το τέλειο γάμο, μεταξύ των σημείων μιας αρχαίας εποχής, και τους ήχους του σήμερα. Το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ του γκρούπ 'ανοιχτά αναφέρεται σε εκείνους που μπορούν να σταθούν ψηλά να γίνει ένα "Wireflame", για να αντιμετωπίσει τις δυσκολίες ενός «Lovecirlce". ... Όσοι μπορούν να σκεφτούν στο πλαίσιο μιας "Bloody Sun" κάνοντας τους εαυτούς τους "Immortal Soldiers»
Harps was founded by the band’s lead singer, Andry Lagiou, in Athens, Greece, somewhere in 2012; when they started performing mainly her own compositions and arrangements, having Jim Rouvell on the drums and Pericles Palamiotis on guitar and Thanos Karakantas on keyboards and bass. The songs could be described as being hard rock driven, featuring ear-catching guitar riffs, bringing along some of Andry’s classical music influences, making that way the perfect marriage, between notes of an ancient time, and the sounds of today. Harps’ debut album is openly referred to those who can stand tall, becoming a “Wireflame”, to face the difficulties of a “Lovecirlce”. … Those who can think under a “Bloody Sun” making themselves “Immortal Soldiers”, as they’re thickening up their skin, whilst they are so “Vulnerably in Love”…
