The Western Ramblers formed by:
Andreas Bontas [Lead Vocals, Acoustic , Electric Guitar & Harmonica]
& Makis Dremetsikas [Backing Vocals, Acoustic, Electric Guitar & Banjo].
Along came Giannis Plagianakos [Up Right, Acoustic & Electric Bass]
Jim Tsarnos [Drums]
Established in April of 2011, they have brought their inimitably relentless style
of American Roots Music, from the Appalachian mountains to
as far east as depression-era now days Athens Greece.
Their goal to make an authentic "American Roots Revival Show" which'll pay tribute
to the roots of the American music: From the mid 1880's to date.
Folk, Bluegrass, Blues, Country & Rock n Roll
Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Sr Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, The Carter Family,
Ralph Stanley, Jimmie Rodgers, Mississippi John Hurt, Blind Blake, Bill Monroe,
Willie Nelson, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lynyrd Skynyrd .
From Leadbelly's John Hardy to Bruce Springsteen's "Nebraska".
Their gigs: "Blues Bar", "Rockin' The Casbah" ,"Remedy Live Club", "The Rock Gallery",
" Bat City", "Arxitektoniki", " After Dark", "S.I.X. Dogs"
Their authentic, raw but skillfully acoustic-electric playing
gained them status and characterize their sound .
